We are looking to recruit an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our energetic and nurturing team at Lapford Community Primary School. The role will include being part of our wider Academy team across three primary schools, in sharing joint planning and expertise in a supportive and dynamic way. This temporary, role is available from September 2025 to cover maternity leave. Applications are welcomed from outstanding practitioners of either KS1 or KS2 as our structure allows flexibility to accommodate the strongest candidate.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how children learn and how to translate this into high quality teaching and learning. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding and engagement in appropriate assessment processes and inclusive practices; and share a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We would welcome applications from candidates with good knowledge and proven experience of teaching across either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. All candidates should share our commitment to developing each child’s individual strengths to ensure every child succeeds.
